Ribonuclease inhibitor
Cat.No. GR1206
Size:1000U(20-40U/μl)
Description
1. Inhibits common eukaryotic RNases A, B and C and human placenta RNase.
2. It is not effective against RNase H, S1 Nuclease, SP6, RNA Polymerases (T7 or T3), AMV or M-MLV reverse transcriptase, Taq DNA polymerase, RNase T1.
3. Active over a broad pH range (pH 5-8).
4. Keep activity in 1mM DTT.
Storage Temperature: -20°C
Application
1. Play a role under the condition of potential RNase pollution.
2. Protect mRNA during cDNA synthetization.
3. Protect mRNA during in vitro transcription and translation system.
4. Increase the activity and yield of polysome.
5. Improve virus replication in vitro.
6. Promote RNA translation in homologous system.
7. Prepare antibody without RNase.
8. Improve the yield of RNA synthesis reaction in Riboprobe (R) system.
Unit definition
One unit is defined as the amount of RNase Inhibitor required to inhibit the activity of 5ng of RNase A by 50%.
Storage buffer
20mM HEPES-KOH pH7.6, 50mM KCl, 8mM DTT, 50% glycerol。
